SDI Shipping Types and Carrier Times


MI comes at 2:30pm and orders need to be less than 1lb and are packed in a bubble mailer or in a brown box.

The most popular shipping method for all clients is the Mail Innovations option. This option is slower in delivery times often taking anywhere from 5-10 days for domestic orders but is also the cheapest or even a free option for our clients customers.

Variations of MI abbreviations on the completion labels are:

EMID – basic domestic shipping

EMII – basic international shipping


UPS comes at 4:30pm and need to be packed in brown boxes.

Variations of UPS abbreviations on the completion labels are:

UPS2 – domestic shipping, arrives in 2 days

UPS3 – domestic shipping, arrives in 3 days

UPSG – domestic ground shipping, arrives in 2-5 days

UPS1S – domestic overnight shipping

UPSE – international expedited shipping

UPSX – international express shipping

 

FedEx comes in between 3:45 and 5pm. All FedEx packages need to be packed and on the conveyor by 3:45pm. These packages need be packed in to brown boxes

Variations of FedEx abbreviations on the completion labels are:

FED1F – domestic overnight shipping, arrives at a specific time

FED1P – domestic overnight shipping, arrives at a specific time

FED1 - domestic overnight shipping, arrives at a specific time

FED2 – domestic shipping, arrives in 2 days

FED3 – domestic shipping, arrives in 3 days

FEDE – international economy shipping

FEDP – international priority shipping

 

USPS (Post Office) comes at 5:30pm and is packaged in to red and white Flat Rate USPS boxes. This is the only shipping option that uses the red and white Flat Rate USPS boxes.

Variations of the USPS abbreviations on the completion labels are:

PR-USPS – domestic shipping, arrives in 2-3 days

EX-USPS – domestic overnight shipping. This option is extremely expensive and not used often

IPR – International shipping

 

First Class is also a part of the USPS option and is also picked up by the Post Office at 5:30pm. The only difference in this option is the orders must be under 1lb and are packaged in bubble mailers or brown boxes.

Variations of the FC abbreviations on the completion labels are:

FC – domestic shipping

FC1 – international shipping
