Product unit conversion explained

 

When products import from the system from an ecommerce platform like BigCommerce some conversion may apply to the product.

There are strict rules for when this happens.

1)      Product Must have a ‘(#U)’ at the end (no other words after this , where # is a number and UC is a unit code or name.

2)      The unit must exist in SDI (From above example the unit U)

3)      The unit types must be the same ex Count,Weight,Volume,Size

4)      Unit type is not X(Variable) these do no conversions (pack, unit etc.)

5)      The formula from ‘(ordered 2) Earrings (5 pair)’  Sdi Unit ‘Each’  will be
Ordered Unit ex 2 ‘O’
(5 Pair) 5 multiplier ‘M’

Product description proportion ex (pair) is 2 ‘P1’

Sdi Proportion ex (each) is 1 ‘P2’

Formula:  O * (M*P1)/(P2)

Formula:  2 * (5*2)/(1)

Formula 2(10)

Sol: 20 Each
